Playback Screenfeed Content with HTML

Using a single HTML file or web address, your signs can deliver fresh content to your viewers.

How it Works

You schedule the HTML file or Screenfeed web address in a playlist and when the file plays it connects to our service over the internet and displays the latest news, weather, trivia, events, tweets, etc on your screen. In most cases it will display the content in random order so it changes each time you show it on screen.

The HTML delivery method works great for our News-in-Pictures, Weather Graphics, Traffic and many of our Infotainment channels, but is not an option for video content due to the download time needed for large video files. For video delivery, check our other delivery options.

When is HTML playback the best option?

When player devices have slower processors or their support for Flash is poor or non-existent. We have found the best playback of live feeds of News-in-Pictures and our Weather Graphics on Cisco Digital Media Players (DMPs) is with HTML and in come rare cases software that supported Flash performed better when a remote URL was scheduled.
